Zane Kumar – Artist and founder of ZXNE’s Music
Zane Kumar, aka ZXNE, is an independent recording artist, songwriter, music producer and entrepreneur based in Vancouver, BC.
ZXNE’S upbringing wasn’t the easiest. His parents got divorced when he was 12 years old. He was raised by his mother, who often struggled to get by financially in those early days. Everything changed for ZXNE at the age of fifteen, when he got to work on a rap song project for school. This experience opened his eyes to new possibilities, and the rest is history.
ZXNE also credits his family for his passion for music and his decision to embark into music production, having been raised in a family of musicians. In 2019, he received a Diploma in Music Production and Audio Engineering from Langara College.
From his early days of recording music in his mom’s small apartment with broken Apple headphones to creating his own brand, ‘The Music of Gen Z,’ it has taken ZXNE seven long years before he could finally share his music with the world. Through ‘The Music of Gen Z’ collective, ZXNE also endeavours to represent aspiring musicians, models, and artists.
His journey as a musician has been defined by a desire to represent the people of his generation with the music he makes. Through his songs, he also wants to inspire this generation to always aspire to be great and shoot for the stars.
